Swedish Volunteers 2nd Edition

- In the original SV-scenarios (Swedish A4-size), the text size and the lay-out of SSR is better with a crispier layout compared to the MMP version. MMP use smaller text size and fed us with absurd cramped-packed SSRs, despite the abundance of place available on almost all the A4 cards (non-Swedish A4-size in AP15).

- The Photo quality on the Action Pack scenarios is bad, compared to the original scenario pictures.

- Most of my special written SSRs/VCs and Set up/Entry text have been kept in MMP AP version, but the MMP bus drivers stripped away my title: Design Consultant

- The English grammar and spelling have been improved upon, but it is only minor text alterations, the original text can still not be misunderstood.

- The ASL text sentences have been replaced completely unnecessary in an attempt to create a lingo that should always be written, even if it's bad and unneccessary writing and always will be, ask if you want examples.

SV13 RATHER UNCOORDINATED - Updated in AP158: Replace one Russian 4-5-8 squad with a 4-4-7 squad. Replace the two “GrW 34” with two “81 Krh/32”  (the change is that the two MTRs cannot fire at a two hex range).

SV14 DAY AT NIGHT - Updated in AP159: Replace the “GrW 34” with a “81 Krh/32”  (the change is that the MTR cannot fire at a two hex range). Replace the “Pak 40” with a “75 PstK/40(g)” (the change being a higher APCR#, A3 increased to A4). Replace the five “StuG IIIG” with five “Sturmi(g)” (the changes are that the AFVs no longer have Sd7 and now have Special Ammo H4).

Kommer trycka upp exakt ett dussin scenario pack, snart.

1999 på hösten var jag här i denna ställningen, med finska veteran-soldater vi hittade en del till en tältkamin, bl.a  har bild nånstans....

Okej, Martin och jag har diskuterat den uppkomna situationen.

Ifall Klas tror att det är okej med MMP kan du få femton ark med counters, och kopior på de två scenariona som du inte har med i ditt kit. Så att fler får tillgång till prylarna.

Men det går såklart bara ifall det är okej för MMP.

To play without the Swedish counters are rather easy to "bypass" - Swedes can be represented by

German (or Finnish) 5-4-8 First Line (HS 2-3-8 1st)

German or Finnish 4-4-7 second Line (HS 2-3-7 2nd) and if ELR failure happens use Finnish 4-3-7 Conscripts consider to be Green instead, it will seldom happen.

National Swedish distinctions that are very similiar to Germans in most regards, but they have no Inherent SWs unless noted in a Special Rule (SSR) and no Smoke Exponent.

The common 5-4-8 squad is not considered Elite (for HOB purposes) and the Nationality distinctions for Swedish are:

Leader Creation drm is zero and also zero for HOB DRM.

The LMGs (2-6 ; B11) from Finnish/Hungarians can be used and the other SWs are available in either Finnish or German colors.

You could easily use proxy German or Finnish counters to represent rare weapons, as were done during playtests.

Five scenarios have both Swedes and Finns in the same scenario the Finns will use the 6-4-8, 5-3-8 structure.

While the Swedes will use Finno-German structure
5-4-8, 4-4-7 (4-3-7), without any Finnish nationality distictions.

SWEDISH VOLUNTEERS – ASL MODULE 12.5

NATIONALITY DISTINCTIONS

25.99 SWEDISH: Swedish MMC are represented by 1^st Line 5-4-8, 2^nd Line 4-4-7, Green 4-3-7 squad/HS, and Infantry crews 2-2-8. There are no Swedish vehicles or vehicle crews. A Swedish 1^st Line MMC that Battle Hardens becomes Fanatic. Swedish Personnel have a HOB DRM of 0 and a Leader Creation drm of 0. Neither the decreased B#/X# (E3.741) nor Fate (E3.742) effects of Extreme Winter apply to Swedish units.

25.991 CAPTURED EQUIPMENT: Swedish Personnel may use Russian LMG/MMG [EXC: 1940] and Russian Personnel may use Swedish “(r)” MG without Captured Use penalties (21.11-.12; E1.76).

25.992 ORDNANCE & OBA: Swedish ordnance [EXC: MG] use the red To Hit Numbers. Swedish OBA receives six black and three red chits, and achieves Accuracy (C1.3) on a Final dr of < 1.
