AFTERMATH (6 Game Turns): The Kesselschlacht in the Tractor Works had been a great German success, although the Russians did take gruesome losses they still inflicted severe depletion and exhaustion in the German ranks and provided enough time for STAVKA to prepare the defense in the south. After some time for rest and refit, the OKH call on its commanders to repeat the successful attack of - Kesselschlacht - in the next factory sector south of the Tractor Work - the RED BARRICADES. The Germans assault of combined arms across the relative open terrain by the German foot soldiers, artillery , Stuka planes and two panzer pltns made rapid advance, despite the hail of small arms fire, machine gun fire , two Russian artillery (80mm), that tried to contain their advance. I would say for a 6 Turns RB CG scenario the German achievements are average both in regards to perimeter and losses for both sides. Uploaded a perimeter map to be viewed above. The today´s battle became a dual attack and the Russian gained the initiative at the beginning of the battle (German set up first, Russian Move first), the Russian artillery support of two battailion OBA modules, delivered several devastating well-aimed strikes upon the German forces. At the Volga sector, the German probing attack towards the Chemist Shop (X10) came to a halt when a hidden dúg-in T-60 opened fire at the advancing Germans, although the Germans managed to expand their perimeter and also reached the Volga shore (buckets of fresh water, were fetched during the night). Stod ingenting eller extremt lite i "island of fire" men det verkar lite bortglömt. German observation plane blasted the Chemist shop and the area outside of the building, with 150+mm artillery knocking out both a hidden T-70 tankette and rubbled a wooden building, that eliminated an AT Gun with crew , still the Russian defenders could not be defeated despite their losess in the end the building catch fire after several artillery hits and the Russians had to abandoned the shop. The spotter plane also calls in pre-reg artilley fire upon the Russian defenders in a factory and eliminate the last resistance in it, the last units are forced to rout through the artillery in the street outside, few survived the carnage. In the large factory the Milita troops were no match for the professionals. Russian artillery observers performed poorly, and were revealed and eliminated by German machine gun fire. The German main attack was directed towards the Russians, in the factory sector complex and several other stone buildings adjacent to the factories. The Germans called down a Nebelwerfer strike in the area, but scattered of and hit few Russians, but did set a factory on fire that rapidly spread and a platoon of Russians were trapped between the German sturm troops and the blazing factories and tried to run through the blaze but all were burned alive. Russians that did escape the blazing factory and the enemy, were routed out to the large debris landscape and attracted some Stuka planes. The Russians few defenders in the Gutted Chemist Shop engaged the Germans in CC, except for a group that fled through the sewers, a German troop was blown up by a set DC in the newly conquered building. A more defensive position were taken along the railway embankment and only some small-scale attacks were carried out and easily repulsed by the Russians, that even started to counter-attack, but a cease-fire ended any further attempts. Verkar smart. ’Började’ använda dem på 90-talet, mer än 25 år sedan. Här ser du alla 6-askarna, det var då jag spelade 3 kampanjer samtidigt. Har mellan askarna förstärkt upp med tjock-ark och fräschar ibland upp fram och bak ytorna med nyklistrat tjock-ark, använder nuförtiden original-mini-kart-arken, eller utslitna IFT tabeller, etc. Bra förbättring är även att fördela upp några askar med två fack i samma tändsticksask. Används även när andra kampanjer spelas, den som spelar engländare eller jänkare, brukar den ryska förvaringen.
