AFTERMATH (6 Game Turns): The War of the Rats have begun again, after the previous vicious Rattenkrieg up north, in the Tractor Works district. The Germans grind their way across the relative open terrain under the cover of two Battalion MTR artillery pounding the upper levels of the Russian occupants in stonebuildings. The Stuka formation performed well and eliminated three Russian positions. A Russian 9-1 commander in the frontline is promptly promoted to 9-2 (HoB). Three large stone buildings were taken by the strong German force today, and will be good jump off positions for the Germans to unleash their spearheads for the upcoming battle, next day.

AFTERMATH (7 Game Turns): The German commander called in two fresh German Rifle Coy today, to support the attack and been promised Air support by the Luftwaffe. The German attack is divided along the whole front into 3 Assault Combat Groups -the first Kampfgruppe thrust along the railroad embankments is stalled from the very beginning by Russian Btln artillery strikes, but after two fire missions that artillery is no more, and the German resume the attack and push the Russian defense line 100 yards back. The largest thrust is into the Factories and brutal fighting occur throughout the battle, after the destruction of the Russian Militia Coy - two factories fall into German hands and they gain footholds in two other factories. In the Volga sector the German perimeter is enlarged through slow steady progress and some climbing down to the Volga shore, the losses is low for both sides, at least if compared to the other sectors.

AFTERMATH (6 Game Turns): Monday the start of another week in Stalingrad, perhaps this is the week that Red Barricades will fall and the city itself. The German concentrated their efforts storming the factories and managed to eliminate and rout the surviving Russian defenders back further into the factory-complex, despite the Russians large sacrifice of men to hold onto the factory halls, although one factory erupted into a blazing inferno, burning several Russians soldiers alive, but also forced the German assault to be cancelled against it. In the largest factory the Germans almost manage to gain complete control of it, but a cease fire halted the fighting, mostly due to ammo shortages and a need to take care of their wounded. The attack in the Volga sector would end at the doorsteps to the Chemist Shop - Fortified , that dominant the area and prevent any flanking maneouvere around it. The attack along the railway embankment made some early gains of 200 yards but came to a halt when the Russian reserve line was activated.

Nej typ 4:e gången men har gett upp ungefär mellan dag 1-4 tidigare. Det här är nog den gång det varit jämnast.

Men jag får ju balans av Melvin såklart.

Får slå alla ledarslag två gånger och ta det bästa slaget när jag köper trupper.

Gäller även för armoured leader och stuka-ess.

Trots det har jag haft otur med både ledarslag och sniper som dödat flera ledare.

Har färre ledare än ryssen just nu

Otur med ledarslagen, skulle jag inte säga, en 10-2 Pz Ldr i Pz IIIL som åker runt och kör över rysk tropp i fabriken har gjort ont och den andra 9-2 Pz Ldr i en Pz IIIH som har stått och pepprat Chemist Shop och reducerat rysk tropp gång på gång. De andra 4 Pz III utan Pz ess är borta, men dessa två har plågat mig i tre dagar nu, och även tvingat ryssen att köpa in ett AT Battery.
