A18.12 CCPh: Anytime a MMC attacking in CC rolls an Original 2 DR, the player makes an immediate dr on the Leader Creation Table. If this results in the creation of a leader, that leader must add his leadership to the Original 2 CC DR that created him (even if the modifier is a +1), and possibly changing its odds due to his one Inherent FP. During the battle, the SPW pltn enters turn two, and race forward and unload Sturm squads up front and quickly put pressure on the defenders that starts to fall back and retreat. Two Russian light artillery is called down upon the Germans in the open and slow down the Germans. Suddenly a hidden Dug-In T-34 reveal itself and knocked out a Pz IIIL but were later knocked out in CC by German elite infantry. The German assault came to a halt when an early cease fire came about. The Germans captured two large stone buildings and a strong foothold in the north most factory, and have established a firm perimeter in the Red Barricades. AFTERMATH (7 Game Turns): A dual attack occurs in the factory complex and Volga area, the Russians hammer the German positions with two artillery modules, mostly in the area between the Volga and the largest factory hall and HMG fired upon the Germans. The Germans start to retreat from their forward positions or eleminated and lose ground to the Russian assault, that suffer heavy casualties but continue to grind their way forward. Yet again the Stukas act as work horses and punish reckless movement, but the Russians are too many and make progress anyhow and manage to capture and spike German Infantry Guns. In the Bread Factory area, the Germans launch an attack and call in a Neblwerfer Rocket strike that cause havoc and set the whole blast area on fire. The Germans encounter the wire-line and a panzer grind and flatten one wire section, while a Sturm squad blown up another wire section to bits with a placed DC. The Russians are shocked by the relentless pressure and try everything to halt and slow down the German assault, but are eliminated in the same pace as the fire spreads in the bakery buildings. A costly affair suffered by both sides today, although the Germans are very satisfied with the terrain taken in the Bread factory area. German Casualties: 5 Ldr, 15.5 Sq-eq, 6 SWs, 3 Guns.
