Day one - 17 Oct, German Assault, Clear, Moderate, no wind (Balance R5 in play).

AFTERMATH (6 Turns): The Germans enter the area for the first time and assault straight towards the Red Halls. Two artillery modules hammer the central sector at start and the German infantry advance without much opposition behind the artillery screens and mop up the area. Later on both German artillery modules start to blast the Russian defenders in the Volga sector and inflict more casualties and also torch the area and several buildings are set ablaze. About half of the Russian casualties was caused by the artillery, also note that the Offb'd Observers pulled 9 black chits, it seemed that the artillery stock piles were available in abundance.

AFTERMATH (6 Turns): The German commander call in 250 soldiers as reinforcements in the form of two rifle companies. Large fires outside the Chemist Shop stops any German plans to attack it. The Germans attack along both sides of the railway embankments, and manage to take control of 3 multi-hex stone buildings, despite stiff resistance by the Russians with artillery support. In the factory sector the Germans encounter armed Militia with artillery blasting the Germans as they tried to advance into the largest factory. In the other factory the Russian retreat slowly and inflict casualties as they conduct local Counterattacks.

AFTERMATH (6 Turns): Third day, the German assault continues. The onslaught is brutal and supported by two German Btln MTR that call in artillery blasts along the railway embankments and upon the Chemist Shop while the Russian call in OBA in the form of two Lt Arty one in front of the Chemist Shop and the other along the railway embankments.  Although, most of the fighting and losses occurred in the Red Halls were the Germans slowly grind forward and pushed deeper into the factory complex. After today's battle on the fourth day of the CG an Idle day occurred as fresh reinforcements was brought forward.

AFTERMATH (6 Turns): 500 Soviet Militia awaits the German assault in the factory halls the slughfest is a carnage half of the Militia perish, the Russian slowly fall back and give ground as the Germans slowly advance 50-100 meter across the factory floor, deeper into the halls, is not much, but much could not be expected due to the massed Soviet formations. The battle ends in a factory hex with two German 548 squads & 238 HS locked in hand-to-hand meele with three Russian 426 squads, the melee ends with all three 426 squads eliminated and the Germans only lost a 238 HS, two field promotions is granted the Germans during the melee as the Germans gets an 8-1 & 8-0 Ldr. In the Volga sector the battle ends in a stalemate and the same goes for the battle at the railway embankments.

AFTERMATH (6 Turns): After several days of hard fighting, the Germans call in a Pionier coy that enter from the west and clear out the building-garage and cross the railway embankments and crushed the defender in the factory workshop countinue towards the large factory hall, and link up with the Germans already there and the German co-ordinate their attack with called in artillery in the hall that score a perfect cluster of explosions the only German Pz IIIL start up and roll forward across the factory floor and cut of the retreat of several Russians that try to keep the Assault Engineers from entering the hall but are cut down to the last man as no retreat path is available to them other that can retreat must run through incoming German artillery shells, the hall is cleared out. A savage battle in the largest factory hall start as both sides blast at each other, but when two Russian Btln Artillery start to pound the Germans, their combat line crumble and they retreat in panic to the rear and the Russian advance after them. but as the other factory falls due to the German Pioniers the pressure is now aimed at the large factory and the Germans push the Russian back. The two-story/hex building is battle over and the Russians lose it to the experienced German troops. at the Volga sector a German Btln MTR offboard artillery bombs the Chemist Shop throughout the battle but only manage to force the Russians to crawl down to the cellar basements. The Germans are building upp a momentum in the area west of the railway embankments (offboard) down to the Bread Factory sector and  the Germans may now enter directly into the Bread factory area the next day.

AFTERMATH (6 Turns): A new day and the front line is extended all down the railway embankments in the south and the Germans launched a massive assault into the Red October steelworks south of the Red Barricades factory district. The second German Assault Engineer Company enters from west edge and encounters first a hidden dug-in T-70 that opens fire and halt their advance but is attacked with three flamethrowers that torch it, shortly after they encounter a second T-70 that is also eliminated, but a Russian HMG opens fire during their advancement towards the Russian positions over the railway embankments and cut 20 Assault Engineer soldiers into shreds. In the central sector a fire fight kicks off and when the German artillery observer calls down its first fire mission two Russian 628 is eliminated by critical hit blasts and Stukas start to pound the Soviet soldiers. Thereafter the Russians withdraw from the firefight and as the German artillery tried to gain more battery access it pulled 6 red chits in a row and when the 2nd black chit is drawn the battle is more or less over. The German Assault Engineers suffered substantial casualties today (five fate 12 DR). The largest factory hall was cleared out of any Russians and several buildings were lost as the Germans pushed their perimeter west and southwards.

AFTERMATH (6 Turns): The German assault presses relentlessly across all fronts. Two rifle companies advance from the western edge, engaging Russian forces in the Bread Factory sector and crossing the railway embankments under intense machine gun and mortar fire. In the central factory complex, German forces clear a contested factory with minimal Russian resistance, allowing assault teams to split up and push toward the Commissar House and southward across the street into adjacent factories. There, they secure footholds in the halls as Russian defenders, depleted by heavy losses, are forced to retreat. At the Chemist Shop, German crossfire from multiple directions overwhelms two Russian squads and a Commissar, who escape via the sewer system, leaving behind 20 dummie, that the Germans eliminate. However, a hidden T-70 tank, dug in, opens fire and scores a critical hit, destroying a parked Pz IIIL outside the Chemist Shop. The Wehrmacht achieves significant terrain gains across all sectors, partly due to Russian command prioritizing troop preservation and designating key terrain for defensive kill-zones to counter future German assaults.

AFTERMATH (6 Turns): The Wehrmacht launches fierce assaults into the factory complex, annihilating the Soviet defenders as one factory hall after another falls under German control. This rapid advance is largely due to a spotter plane that directs devastatingly accurate heavy artillery strikes (150+mm) onto Soviet positions. Stuka dive-bombers dominate the skies, preventing any Soviet reinforcements from reaching the inferno-like halls.

In the Bread Factory sector, the Germans seize control of one of the first bread factories, pushing back the desperate Soviet defenders and ruthlessly crushing any counterattacks. By day 10 (of 11), the Germans fulfill the victory conditions.

The following day 27/10, the Soviets plan a major assault. A Dual Attack is triggered, forcing the Germans to lose the initiative and set up their defenses first.

AFTERMATH (7 Turns): On the campaign's final day—a tense Dual Attack—the Soviets must regain control of at least one objective without losing any others.

A devastating 120mm artillery barrage hammers the German-held Bread Factory, clearing the way for two KV-1 M42 heavy tanks to rout the defenders. Guards SMG squads swiftly reclaim the structure, repeatedly mowing down, with the help of the KV-1 tanks, desperate German counterattacks.

Further east, a German assault along the gully—aimed at seizing another Bread Factory—is repulsed by a fierce Soviet counterattack, that eliminated that force.

In the bitterly contested factory hall, a German spotter plane directs 100+mm artillery blasts onto a Pre-Registered hex, matched by a Soviet 80+mm barrage on another Pre-Reg hex in the same hall. Two T-34 M43 tanks arrive as Soviet reinforcements. The Germans nearly seize the hall but fail to dislodge the defenders' final foothold. Both T-34s are knocked out in close-quarters combat. Soviet reinforcements pour in through a sewer from the larger factory hall to the south, fueling brutal hand-to-hand fighting. The last German flamethrower sputters dry after its second fiery burst.

With victory hanging by a thread, the Germans muster a final assault on the blazing Commissar House, targeting its one non-burning corner. They stumble into a lurking T-34 M43 parked north of the House, which blasts 20 soldiers to oblivion—until an 8-0 leader, DC in hand and act as if he wants an Iron Cross, dashes forward, plants the charge on the tank's roof, and detonates it in seconds. The attack presses on: Germans storm the house from both sides and encounter several Russian groups that try to pin them down, but a 5-4-8 squad manage to enter the House and engage the last defender a berserk 426 squad in CC. The melee drags on as the battle has ended, and only Conclusion of Meele remains, several DRs are made before resolving in a hard-fought German victory.
