The Germans push forward along the whole frontline and encounter stiff resistance as they approach the factories. Along the flanks, the Russian defense is much weaker and must yield ground to the advancing Germans (and Croatians). During the assault two hidden dug-in T-34 are discovered as they open fire and one Panzer is lost, but shortly thereafter they are both no more, the first T-34 barrel jams, during fire, and the vehicle crew is machine-gunned down as the dug-in machine is abandoned, the second T-34 is attacked in CC by a German squad and thanks to a German hero created in CC during fire the hero led the other men and manage to wreck the large machine outside the Martinovski, the third dug-in T-34 is still hidden. Another good progress by a formidable German force, the Russian officers throw their men in front of several German schwerpunkts in a desperate attempt to bleed and slow down the German advance, so reinforcements can be brought forward, before the German wrest control of the whole factory complex. AFTERMATH (6 Game Turns): Even as heavy fighting raged in and around the Red Barricades factory complex, about 1 km to the south, large German formations were being readied to assault the Red October Steel Works. Tasked with this mission were elements of Panzer-Division 14, the fresh Infantry-Division 79 and Jäger-Division 100, as well as units of two Sturmgeschutz sections (244, 245). The German had set 23 October as X-Tag (X-Day). The task of defending the Steel Works was given to 39th Guards Rifle Division, the 100th Flamethrower Company, elements of the 84th and 54th Tank Brigades, as well as factory worker Companies. The German assault into the sector, for the first time, started in the early morning. With volumes of artillery support that caused heavy losses among the Russian Guards up front, Stuka planes soon appeared and started to dive with blazing MGs and bombs upon the retreating Russians. The planned assault by Wehrmacht officers is relentless, the defense-line is pushed backed like a snake-in- pain towards the railway embankment, suddenly as it had started, the morning assault is halted. The second phase of the battle, will be launched in the afternoon, in the meantime both sides bring in reinforcements. German Casualties: 2 Ldr, 13 Sq-eq, 4 SWs, 1 AFV. Russian Casualties: 1 Ldr, 29 Sq-eq, 9 SWs, 1 Gun. 8. CG I RED OCTOBER X-TAG, 23-29 October, 1942, 7 CG Days LEAFLET HOUSE RULES (see link) https://forum.aslsweden.com/index.php?/topic/4126-lhr-red-barricades-red-october/
  11. När du har tid att syna reglerna, svara då på om MOL kan träffa hull down AFVs bakom Wall or Hull down at crest Hill, enligt reglerna slår man inte To Hit DR bara To Kill DR, dvs, Hull down betyder ingetting mot MOL (FT, DC).
  12. Alla kommer få en special karta (flooded Marsh/overlays/footbridge) för scenariot J202 Down By The River
