Steve
Hi Spoke with Olle Gustavsson last night and he suggested popping in and registering with ASL Sweden as I am currently based in Stockholm. Started playing Squad Leader in 1978 after picking up a mint version of SL at a school fete. Moved into ASL in the early 90's and played many a game with Olle until I left Sweden to go work in Italy. Played in an ASL tournament in Uppsala some years ago and came last I particulary remember Patrik Manlig slaughtering me and we all had a good giggle when my Air Support brewed up my Shermans. Went to Intensive Fire some years ago and met up with Pete Phillips (VFTT) and the British players. Had a blast and came almost last there as well You spotting a pattern here with my tournament play? Recently I have had no opponents to play as I have been in Ireland and prior to that travelling all over the world so trying to get back into playing again. Olle and Martin have both been kind enough to give me games and I must say though I am pretty rusty its fun to get back to playing again. Anyway I hope I get to stay in Sweden a while and get to play a few of you. Anybody here use VASL much? Would be nice to get a few games going. All the best and roll lowSteve

ON TOP ASL
Good, I am gathering an ASL Tournament in November (17-19), do attend, it's a laidback style competition (like gothenburg) and it will be fun. Take some people from sthlm with you (Olle) or go by train! You will even probably get the chance on revenge to Manlig (last years winner). see you!
