Tjoho! Nu har de snälla människorna på MMP tagit pengar från mitt konto för DBv3. Mattias, MMP påstår att de kommer att ha ny hemsida någon gång i februari och att den kommer att möjliggöra flexiblare lösningar, man får hoppas att det blir bättre då.

Nu har MMP givit upp sina försök att samskeppa DBv3 med J#8 och börjar enligt Brian Youse/MMP skeppa ut DBv3 idag och J#8 imorgon: "Folks, I'm pulling the plug on the effort because we have missed a week of time where we could have been shipping games. There were just too many anomalies for us to automate this and there are too many orders for two people (Vicki and Jo Ann) to catch by hand. Unfortunately, all of this effort happens while we are trying to move the office into our new digs (in Suite #. So, Doomed Battalions starts shipping today, tonight i'll download Journal #8 preorders and they'll start going out tomorrow. The Winter Offensive Bonus Pack probably won't be available until late this week or perhaps early next week - more details on that when this happens. Fortunately, the new website, demoed to us by Dave last Monday, will handle multiple preorders (as well as purchasing in stock games with preorder games, and a host of other neat touches). Hejsan! Kan någon godhjärtad upplysa mig om hur regel A8.4 ska tolkas. Får en Squad som endast har skjutit First Fire med PSK skjuta IFE på en fiende två rutor bort, jag tror ja då det endast är Weapon som är markerad med First Fire. Får en Squad som endast har skjutit First Fire med en PF skjuta IFE på en fiende två rutor bort, jag misstänker nej då Unit är markerad med First Fire. Tacksam för svar.

En märklig händelse, Doomed Battalions v3 har tagits bort från preorder, dvs den ska äntligen skeppas efter drygt 44 månader på preorder! Även ASL Journal #8 har tagits bort från preorder och är på väg ut till de hungrande massorna.

Det har uppstått något problem med AP#6 enligt Brian Youse/MMP vilket fördröjer den något: "Folks, Much to our chagrin, we have encountered a small manufacturing problem with ASL Action Pack #6 and it will not be available at Winter Offensive 2010. Det låga preorder antalet har redan uppnåtts, och jag gissar att MMP nog har tänkt att om möjligt ha den ute till deras konvent Winter Offensive den 14-17/1.

Jag noterar att Friendly Fire scenariot "Maczek Fire Brigade" blir officiellt nu. FrF har alltså blivit kunglig hovleverantör, grattis Martin & Co

En statusrapport från Chas Argent/MMP: 1) All the components for Doomed Battalions 3 are in-house, with the exception of the counters, which were just (finally) approved for printing. The goal at this point is to have them in time for Winter Offensive. 2) The J2 reprint has been completed and Brian will be sending it to the printer next week. 3) We are still 125 orders shy of 800 for Action Pack 6: Decade of War; c'mon, folks, put her over the top. 4) I am very close to "done" with the layout for Journal 8; most of the articles and scenarios have been proofed and are finished. As soon as I can get the remainder finished it will go up for preorder. As soon as I'm finished with that I will work on completing Out of the Attic 2, which will be hot on J8's heels. 5) For King and Country is slowly chugging up the preorder totals. As of today it is at 471 out of 800 needed orders. 6) We have begun the counter and scenario layout for Hakkaa Paalle, and I will begin the rules layout shortly. 7) Charlie Kibler is close to completing the final maps (4 of them) for Festung Budapest.
