Janusz Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 Detta skrev jag till den iterna mailinglistan, så ni får den på engelska. "So, here's a short AAR. After a long tense 7-turn game, with the advantage swinging back and forth, it all comes down to this:A 9+1 shot against broken partisan HS plus squad. If any of them is reduced, Carl wins. I'd say that is about a 50% chance.BTW, that was the last possible chance to inflict that last CVP for either side. Highlights include a German squad self-rallying under DM, stopping the collapse of a flank and bottling up the units that had bypassed him. He went on to break about 5 enemy squads, fight in CC vs a HS for two turns (then breaking and running away), and getting captured. A 3,5+3 shot that took out a German 8-1, squad/MMG stack. German 10-2 leader directing two 9+0 shot for no effect, then breaking and rallying. Carl said "this guy has been a complete waste so far", and me responding "but he hasn't died and given me 3CVPs thougth". Guess what the next thing he does is? Well, so many strange things went on, like partisan SAN 4 only managing to reduce two German units, both about to die for FTR (not completely true, one became a HS that went on to be captured according to my plan, thus robbing me of two prisoner-CVPs. Do the math :o/ The most tense game I've played for a very long time, if not ever. Just one thing that could've made it better. But what is a 50% chance really worth?" Janusz
