  1. Här är en AAR från ett av mina spel iallafall:

     

    must make a shorty AAR of one of the most wild games I've had. It was the past weekend at ASL Scandinavian Open and playing with Lars-Petter Simonsen from Norway. We've played before and always have very good and tight games.

     

    So we're playing the Friendly Fire scenario The Fields of Black Gold with me as the Russians. Setup nothing special, I decide on the defending the forward hill on board 2 as well as putting a moderate force on the small "building" hill on the other board. This being 3-4 squads and 9-0 Commissar (we'll be back to him!). This Hill is treated as a building for VC purposes, e.g. once you're on your own on any of the hexes you control it. We'll be back to that too. :-)

     

    Figuring he would back up his assault on the hill 2 hill with many of his Panzers I put the HIP ART 76L on the woods on lvl 1, to take hopefully two of them out before losing it. TK 13 vs side AF of three.

     

    Play starts and Lars-Petter puts one AFV Adjacent to the Gun and another one 4 hexes away. No shooting in DFPh figuring it would be nicer not to have the +2 Motion Targe mod. All prep fire shots misses misserably, but the crew survivies all incomming. Next German turn sees the Crew pinned and a 468 comes Adjacent for some tete-a-tete.

     

    Nothing to do; the 468 advances in on the Pinned Crew to clean up. Comes CCPh, it rolls to high and does nothing, Pinned crew attacks back, DR: 1,1 <screams penetrate the hall>. So not only a come back, but also a new for me. Obviously there is nothing in rules that prohibit a Crew from generating leaders this way. Add one 8-0 to the Russians.

     

    Return fire creates a German Hero.

     

    In the new turn the 76L finally kills an AFV, rotates 180° and shots on another one, with German AL in it, but bounces (or misses, can't rememeber). The Germans finally breaks and chases the crew away.

     

    The German attack presses on, and Russians hold quite well on one side of the Hill 2 ridge. The other side belongs to the Germans.

     

    Then a long-range MG fire causes a MC for the ?(9-0, 447) on the small "building" hill. 9-0 rolls and snakes! Arggh, please not berserker! We know what

    means. No way, one HOB roll later I have not only a 10-0 Commissar, but a *Heroic* 10-0!

     

    The ART 76L in Tow has unloaded in the middle of board 2 on ground level. Two IF fires against AFV's driving along the level three ridge had missed. The Germans decides to take this nuisance out. Drives up an PzIV and fires point blank into the hex; MG's no effect, MA no effect. The crew is still standing and in next

    PFPh turns CA, fires back, hits but gets only an immob. The German crew takes the NTC and has had enough and bails out! Another squad fires a 4-1 at them, and they're broken too. Comes APh/CPh and the crew of the Russian 76L advances in and is now owner of a second hand Panzer IV!

     

    The Russian Valentines and T-34's have entered.

     

    In what is to be the final turn of the game, 5 IIRC. The Germans are slowly running out of units and decide this is it; do or die! Two Panzers take the two board hill hexes furthest away, surviving all my def include IF. Another squad controls more and the rest of them can be entered in APh.

     

    It remains only the small "Building Control" hill. In front of it are two Valentines and on it one squad. Yes a bit little. The Heroic 10-0 watches from behind the hill ready to shoot anyone.

     

    To get there Lars-Petter has two squads next to the Valentines and a Leader / Hero / 468 squad whom must Double Time to get on top of the hill. To draw fire away from the infantry a PzIV moves to the Crest of the next Hill and parks with a HD maneouver. Aghh. Valentines panick and declares DFF! Ha, Lars-Petter says, you need a three and a Turret hit to get him. I nod, roll the dice and have a 1,1!! Big smile and another scream! Ok, CH makes TK 14, I roll the dice again and have a ... 6,6 dud. He screams. Tension is really high now. All AFV's in the area fire their MA's but no changes.

     

    Time for the German Infantry to take the hill. First moves, Valentine CMG 8-2, and breaks. Next moves, the captured PzIV fires and it breaks too. Only the Ldr / Hero / 468 left. They need to run through a 4 ResFP and one Valentine CMG DFF. Both attacks fail to impress the group and they arrive CX next to my only Squad.

     

    In the APh the hero & 468 advances into my location. He moves the leader to one of his broken 468 hiding in a wooden hex on the same hill. "If all kill eachother in the CC, he can be rallied and win the game in the RPh" - way cool idea! Lots of style points for that. Oh, well CC. Both attacks fail and the Russians have won.

     

    Phew!

    Ingen TH nödvändig.

    TK# halverad vid Long Range så det beror på om din eldkastare har 2 eller 1 rutas range.

     

    För en AFV med understruken FT firepower är normal range 2 rutor och long range 3 rutor (D1.8, A22.1).

  3. Journal 6 med Primosole Bridge CG kanske kan vara något?

    Har spelat ett Primosole scenario och det var ok. Har läst negativa kommentarer om CG'et, om att det blir för mycket pjäser.

     

    Köpordning (IMO): Pegaus Bridge med en gång! Sedan, eller samtidigt, FKAC -> Yanks -> CdG -> HL. Svårt att rekomendera PTO när inte CoB finns att köpa, men rekomenderar det iallafall! :blink:

    Det var typiskt med Gung Ho lådan!!! Men bra med CoB. :D Tackar! Något du letar efter? Kanske en Tyranid eller Space Marine till ungarna? Kommer till Gbg (hela) veckan efter denna för Scanpack mässan. Blir stressigt (vi ställer ut), men får jag till det kommer jag din väg, annars får det bli nästa gång igen.

  5. Ryssarna har däremot mycket kul för sig. Sewers är inte alls med som i RB, men de har grymma gardesenheter, sunkiga NKVD, grymma NKVD (628 med streck under moral och 9 på baksidan), pioneers, kanoner, och fortifications.

  6. Den finska modulen Hakka Päälle är på gång, men den tar nog ett bra tag innan den kommer ut. Den är i och för sig nästan helt klar, men ett par saker ligger före i tryckningen. Jag skulle gissa att den inte kommer ut förren tidigast 2008. Tyvärr.

     

    Om jag vore MMP skulle den ha högsta prioritet. ;)

     

     

    Om jag fick rösta vore du det nu! Tuomo / jag har inte hört ngt på länge heller. ASLOK 2007 vore ett ideelt datum för releasen!! ;) Det är föresten den perfekta avkopplingen för nyblivna pappor!

  8. Vi spelade rätt mycket DYO i SL och det funkade rätt bra. Någon gång kom det kanske upp "obalancerade" situationer, men det var kul iallafall. Systemet med kort spelade vi inte så ofta, det kunde bli rätt konstiga kombinationer av VC & antal turns. Kortaste var väl 4 turns & hade försvareren 25 squads var det inte mycket att göra. Men cool ide.

    Listers:

     

    We just placed on preorder a complete map set for the ASL system,

    boards 1-52, and boards t-z of the starter kits. These boards will be

    the starter kit style.

     

    Should this product meet its preorder number (of 450), we are

    producing many thousands of each map so that we will have stock for

    selling individually. Retail price for individual maps is $5 plus

    postage. The bundle, after P#, will be $240 plus postage. The

    preorder price for the map bundle is $180 plus shipping.

     

    We will also have a "leg up" on reprinting out of print modules. We

    will not be offering "mapless" versions of core modules in the future

    (it really is a logistical problem for our small office staff).

     

    The maps will be shipped in a box so that they are not folded. PLEASE

    NOTE that they will be scored so that they can easily be folded. Its

    part of the production process, we're not going to try and bypass

    that. But when shipped they will be flat. We weighed a mock-up today

    and it was nearly 7 pounds not including the packing box and filler,

    this is a heavy product!

     

    Unlike usual P# games, the artwork from this one will not be started

    until we are confident it will hit its preorder number. We will have

    to pay for 35 maps to be reproduced and that is not inexpensive, so we

    want to be sure we've got that angle covered. We have alerted the

    artist, Kurt Miller (of Avalon Hill fame), so he knows this job may be

    coming down the pipeline shortly. What does this mean to you? It means

    that there certainly will be some form of delay once this hits before

    this is produced. We hope the delay is minor, Kurt is very good at

    working quickly and meeting deadlines.

     

    This is the first entry on the P# list in which no one at MMP has any

    inkling at how it will be received. We have done this in reaction to

    emails and posted demand "to get them as a group now", so lets see how

    accurate our online feedback really is!

    ta bort två vagnar.

    så har du tagit ett steg i rätt riktning.

     

    ps. spelat scenariot 7 ggr mot 6 olika spelare

    Roar har det vid 17 mot 30 för fransmännen. Tycker ändå att det är bra!

  11. Är det någon här som spelat A113 Then Things Got Worse? Är det kul? Det ser vid en första anblick rätt lovande ut, tycker jag.

    Then Things Got Worse är ett riktigt höjdar scenario! IMO ett av ded bästa in genren "litet scenario på ett bord med anfallaren från ena kortsidan och försvararen i hus" (Faugh a Ballagh, 3RTR in the Rain, und so weiter).

    Tackar! Prep Fire osv. har jag i 2 plano (#3701) lådor, vilket funkar bra. En del pjäser kommer att flyttas över till tändstickaskarna, speciellt sådana som bara behövs för vissa CG's. Annars kommer alla nationerna att hamna i tändstickslådorna, med en "CG" ask där extra counters sparas.
