The Finnish ASL- tournament

 

SISSUKONI VI

 

Will be held between Friday 27th of August and Sunday 29th of August 2004

at Aurinkolahti barracks in Helsinki.

 

Gaming will commence on the 27th at 0600 PM and the last round will end on

the 29th by 0300 PM.

 

Attendance fee for the tournament will be 10 Euro, and for the selfrally.org

supporting members it will be 5 Euro. The attendance fee covers the

tournament attendance, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings and the

possibility to sleep at the tournament site. And we'll have beds

available for everyone this time around too, although you'll need to bring

your own sleeping bag for maximum convenience!

 

Close to the tournament site one can find lots of different restaurants

that will satisfy the needs of even the most demanding ASLers.

Since the tournament is organized in military area, backgrounds of all

foreigners (not citizens of Finland) will be checked by the authorities. For

this reason we need to provide the authorities the date of birth and

passport number for any non Finnish citizen coming to the tournament as soon

as possible. So please go and register ASAP even if you are not 100% on

coming, so we can clear your entry into the tournament site! There is no

penalty for registering and not coming, but registering too late might make

your participation difficult or impossible.

Tuomu! Kan inte du berätta lite om senaste statusen på Hakka Pälle? 

 

När boxen kommer ut har ju MMP själva gett lite hintar om, jag menar mer om  innehållet?

 

(kommer det några finnar till Stockholm Open 2004? Jag hade turen att möta alla tre förra året .)

Status of Hakkaa Päälle is pretty much unchanged since last summer you saw the materials. We submitted it back in august last year, and MMP has been working with other projects (AoO, VoTG, ASLSK) they have not even reviewed the submission yet. But as soon as VOTG is ready to go they'll probably start working on it.

 

We have 24 scenarios (including those subitted by you and Mats D) in the submission. We plan to have about 700 counters (sqads, SW, Leaders, AFVs, Ordnance, system counters). The reason for large amout of counters is that in the future HP is going to be the only module with finns as the next version of Beyond valor does not have any Finnish counters, so even the 648/538/838 squads along with the new squad types and SWs are included. Also bd52 will be in the box.

 

As fo Stockholm ASL goes I can not make it this year for family reasons. I know that several others are planning to attend however.

And even if I speak and write very little svenska, I can read 96,7 % of the stuff you post herein. Really a nice forum and I enjoy the disscussion herein.
