AFTERMATH 17 Oct (7 Turns): The German assault on the Barrikady erupts in fury as two companies—of Stosstruppen led the assault and—storm the factory entry points. They are backed by a Rifle Coy, two battalion-level 80+ mm artillery modules, shrieking Stuka dive-bombers, three Panzer IIIL, and four SPW 251 half-tracks.

The Soviets hold firm with 350 men on the frontline, 200 in reserve, two AT guns, and a battalion mortar module that draws all five black chits, inflicting 25% casualties on the attackers in a devastating well aimed blasts.

Volga Sector: German elites surge forward. A Soviet Maxim MMG blazes from an upper-story window, directed by a 9-1 leader—until a German sharpshooter drops him cold. The squad routs in panic, abandoning the gun; the Germans seize the building, a hidden AT gun lands a skill shot, brewing up a Panzer III L. Stosstruppen reach the Volga shoreline and close in on the Soviet-infested Chemist Shop.

Central Sector: Russians are slaughtered or routed into the factories. The push along the Railway Embankment grinds to a halt at Triangle House, where two ATR methodically pick off three SPWs one by one.

Germ Casualties: 4 Leaders, 12 Squad-eq, 9 SW, 4 AFVs.

Från en fantastisk perimeter dag ett, till en katastrofal dag två med tunga förluster. Fick hybris dag ett och satsade hela dag två på att ta det fortifierade stenhuset på tyskens vänstra flank..

AFTERMATH 17 Oct (6 Turns): The German assault into the Barrikady rages on. Two fresh Rifle Companies arrive as reinforcements, while the Luftwaffe unleashes additional Stukas to pound any enemy movement in the open. Along the Railway Embankments, Germans seize three multi-hex stone buildings, forcing the Russians to abandon them—or die defending.

The northmost factory descends into a bloodbath across its cavernous floor, as both sides launch relentless attacks and counterattacks in a brutal melee.

Volga Sector: The German bid to storm the key building ends in failure, repulsed by Soviet defenders and a Lt Arty 70+mm.

Day 3: No assault materializes as the Germans go idle, methodically building up their forces.

Day 4: Storm Clouds Gather The assault is declared—the bloodiest day yet looms.

Germ Casualties: 2 Leaders, 14.5 Squad-eq, 7 SW, 1 AFV.

Russ Casualties: 3 Leaders, 21.5 Squad-eq, 3 SWs, 1 AFV.
