AFTERMATH (5 Game Turns): A new German Commander, Herr Cpt Peyre transferred to the Stalingrad sector. Given the task to assault the Red Barricades on Saturday 17th October, short preparations for the task at hand is given to him, and he is instructed to be flexible enough to cope with the situation at hand. He calls in additional support of a second Pz IIIL pltn and a SPW pltn to reinforce the planned assault and a second Sturm Coy. During the battle, the SPW pltn enters turn two, and race forward and unload Sturm squads up front and quickly put pressure on the defenders that starts to fall back and retreat. Two Russian light artillery is called down upon the Germans in the open and slow down the Germans. Suddenly a hidden Dug-In T-34 reveal itself and knocked out a Pz IIIL but were later knocked out in CC by German elite infantry. The German assault came to a halt when an early cease fire came about. The Germans captured two large stone buildings and a strong foothold in the north most factory, and have established a firm perimeter in the Red Barricades.

Den tuffaste delen återstår för tyskan att ta de återstående husen på 8 scenarior, tid finns det gott om men inte tropp, Ryska Offb’d Observers har mycket god LOS över terrängen. 

Ryssen har just nu gott om stridsvagnar mot inga, fler Guns, Fanatic-fortified-nest och vet var tysken kommer att anfalla, en fördel med kort frontavsnitt.

AFTERMATH (7 Game Turns): The final efforts, in the end of the third week, to eliminate the Russian positions. The Germans called down a 100mm artillery that forced the defenders into the cellars, the artillery knocked out a KV-1 M42 AFV behind the row-houses. All four T-70 tankettes went forward in and eliminated two German squads, but quickly eliminated by skilled German soldiers (one by a flamethrower, two with "ATMM" and the last with handgrenades). Mostly a stalemate in the Oil-storage area. In the area east of the large factory the German assault suffered most casulities but re-grouped and pushed on in a second assault wave now with the support of Stukas and gained control of several single story buildings. In the south area the 3 row-houses were defended with the best Russian elite troops, but the Germans also massed their strongest attack here and eventually after the Russian artillery went silent, lashed out and gained a foothold in the Russian stronghold, before a cease-fire occurred.

AFTERMATH (7 Game Turns): The battle starts with the Germans open up with a large volume of fire into the Row-house area. The Russian returns fire and X12 its hand-held flamethrower. As the battle rage on. The OT-34 is called in, and enters the scene, and toast a German unit in a row-house and when it attempts to start up and go to exit into hiding, before the Stukas arrive it X12 its engine, later on it is eliminated by Stuka bombs. The Germans gains control of the row house adjacent to the stone rubble. Russians attempts to counter-attack the row-house throughout the battle, but two German flammenwerfer in the building, that throw fire volley after volley against the attacking Russians and after more of a dozen flame attacks the Russian realize the attacks are futile and starts to call the row-house - the petroleum station. In the Oil Storage area the Germans attack and press on and gain control of a handful of more single story buildings, closer to the fanatic building nest, that dominate the area.

Alltså jag tror att mina eldkastare knappt ens slog högre än sju en enda gång. Helt sjukt.

Och ryssen som har varit sjukt restruktiv med sin OT-34 och så fort den visar nosen så blir den imobilized och sprängd av Stuka.

OT-34 som hade sjukt svårt att ens komma in på plan, grillade en crew innan OT-34 dog💀

AFTERMATH (6 Game Turns): During a day of rest, both sides bring in reinforcements. The Germans have gathered 17x 8-3-8 squads burden with flamethrowers and plenty of demo charges, the main attack is aimed at the last Russian controlled Row house and into the worker settlement's cluster of wooden buildings. The Russian first line of defense is crushed easily and as the Germans encounter the second line of defense many hand-to-hand close combats occurs. As the Germans reach the third line of defense, the Germans encounter 4 guns that open fire and causing severe losses and also knocked out two Panzer. Before three of the guns is eliminated. Russian reinforcements have reached the combat zone from the ferry camp, and after a short period of time the Russian force have lost more than 50% of this force during their first day in Stalingrad. At the Oil storage area, the Germans have set up a perimeter to contain the Russians and fire at the Fanatic building and elsewhere, and even discover a bunker located 150m from the building. The Russians called down artillery fire from two artillery modules and place a barrage to hinder the Germans from movement (retreat/reinforce). As the Russians see the German lines crumble and start retreating from their front line. The Russian start attacking and three hidden PaK 38 start to open fire at point-blank range and eliminates several squads, but mostly conscripts that are in the front of the attack to suck up German firepower. As the Russian elite troops follow up and eliminated the three guns. The Germans dispatch a platoon of reinforcements to halt the Russian attack. Another bloody day, both sides wonder how this will end, as request for much more reinforcements, are denied for each side. The Germans now only have two Assault Engineers coy left in the reserve, and the Russians only have 3 Guards Elite coy left in the reserve.
