Second Front: A Comparison To ASL

Have we finally been blessed with computer ASL in all but name only? The short answer is ... yeah, pretty much. The long answer is ... with some minor tweaks to pick up the pace of the game. In this video I give you a preview of what Second Front is, and attempt to show you how it compares to the mechanics of ASL through a couple scenario examples using infantry, guns, and AFV.

Some ASLers might not like this comparison, but it is what it is, and there's no point denying this is as close to computerize ASL as we've ever seen, and will probably ever get. The developer, Jo Bader, clearly created this from ASL and was an ASL player in the past (not sure if he still plays, probably too busy). The point is, both ASL and Second Front can co-exist. Second Front for some light, solo ASL-like action ... full ASL to challenge the grey matter!
