SA5Д Cherkassy Pocket Novaya Buda, Ukraine, February 1944 Two updates: In the Victory Conditions, “two unbroken squads (not equivalents)” has been replaced with “two unbroken squad-equivalents,” and “one German squad” has been changed to “one German squad-equivalents.” In SSR 4, the phrase “with plentiful Ammo” has been deleted. The Russian OBA has been revised to use LHR draw mechanics. This change delete the chance of drawing two red chits or only one black chit and two red chits. Conversion note The DASL5 scenario (Deluxe) “Little Stalingrad”—a complete dog of a scenario that heavily favored the Russians—has been adapted to standard boards, resulting in a significantly larger playing area, and changes the character of the scenario: it no longer begins as a city fight; the Soviets must now fight their way into the rubbled town itself. The conversion features new Victory Conditions, updated SSRs, and a revised title. The Order of Battle and number of turns remain unchanged from the original.
