STOCKHOLM ASL TOURNAMENT 2007 (May 18-20)

Welcome to the fifth annual event that is held in May
(Friday 18th to Sunday 20th).

The registration start on Friday 12:00 - 12:45 there is no pre-registration
you only have to come - we have plenty of space.
the entry fee is 200 SEK (22euro)
Breakfasts and fruits are included with the entry fee.

The location for the tournament will be in a School called
"TULLINGE GYMNASIUM" (Paved Road- Alfred Nobels Alle´)
it is modern with good tables, chairs and light.
You will be able to sleep (floor) in any of the several large rooms provided,
more than a dozen gymnastic madresses (2 inches) are available.

The ASL players Martin Svärd and Erik Leander works there as teachers.

- There will be a Five Round Swiss-format .
- ABS will be provided for all scenarios.
- The scenario - packs will be available 1st February.
- Optional rules will not be in effect unless indicated by SSR.

- All official errata are in effect (unless "under review") .

Prizes : There are three catagories (only)
1.The winner (2nd and 3rd)
2.The CC winner (2nd)
3. Best Non-Swede (yes -- possible to win all three catagories)

Almost all scenarios have been modified with SAT-rules in an attempt
to balance / improve them and remove / replace any unnecessary / unclear rule.
The modifications have been printed onto each scenario and will be sent / given
to all participants in Stockholm - May.

For anyone coming that would like some assistance don´t hesitate to contact us
we will try to make your stay here as convenient as possible

- Add a 9-1 leader to the German Turn 2 reinforcements.

- Add in the end of SSR 3 the following:
"No crew can gain Control of any Hex.

ASL L - HITDORF ON THE RHINE

- Delete one 2-2-8 crew from the German Turn 1 reinforcements
and replace their dm HMG with a dm MMG.

- Add in the end of the VCs "(prisoners do not count double)."

- The five SSRs have been rewritten as follows:

1. EC are Moderate, with no wind at start. Kindling is NA.

2. All German units of the Hitdorf Garrison may use HIP.
The truck is Recalled as if an AFV, if it has no Passengers on-board.

3. The Germans recieve one module of 80+mm Battalion Mortar OBA (HE only).

4. The Americans recieve one module of 100+mm OBA (HE, SMOKE), but may
not roll for Radio Contact until Turn 4.

5. The American 7-4-7 squads are considered to have a printed
SMOKE Placement Exponent of 2 (not 3).

PBP 25 - FIRST AND INCHES

- One of the 4-4-7 2nd line Squads have been deleted, the remaining
6x 5-4-8 elite and 4x 4-4-7 2nd line Squads have been replaced with
6X 5-4-8 ss and 4x 4-4-7 ss elite Squads.


- All 5 SSRs have been rewritten with these 6 new SSRs:

1. EC are Moist, with no wind at start. Bore Sighting and Kindling are NA.

2. All buildings have a Ground Level only. No buildings are Rowhouses.
Rowhouse hexsides (i.e., black bars) are treated as normal building hexsides
for all purposes.

3. No American unit can be concealed the first German Player Turn.

4. No Quarter and Massacre cannot be declared by either side (EXC: Berserk units).

5. All German Squads and HS have an underlined Morale Number
and an ELR of 2 (A19.13).

6. The two StuG IIIG have Schuerzen (D11.23).

ASL 24 - THE MAD MINUTE

- Add six 1S Foxhole and one 9-1 leader to the American OB.

- Delete two 6-5-8 ss Squads from the German OB.

- Replace the four German SPW 251/1 with one Puma PSW 234/2 .

- Rewite of the VCs.

VICTORY CONDITIONS: The Germans win if they
control all buildings within four hexes from hex 12S6.

- The 3 SSRs have been rewritten with these 5 new SSRs:

1. EC are Wet, with no wind at start . Kindling is NA.
Ground Snow (E3.72) is in effect.

2. The Americans may use HIP for two Squads and any SMC/SW
stacked with them.

3. All buildings have a Ground Level only , exception for building 12R6
that is not affected by this SSR.

4. All six Pzkw IVH have Schuerzen (D11.23).

5. The American player must in the American DFPh on Turn 6 place out
one 150 mm HE Concentration FFE:2 counter in any hex of his choice,
there it will be resolved in its 7 hex blast area. Thereafter the counter is
inverted to its FFE:C side and it will be removed at the end of the next RPh.

A109 - SCOUTS OUT

- Replace the American 8-1 armor leader with an 8-1 leader and replace
the two 6-6-6 that enter on Turn 1 with two 6-6-7 squads.

A4 - BEYOND THE BLUE BEACH

- Rewrite of the VCs.

VICTORY CONDITIONS: The Germans win immediately upon Exiting two
AFVs with functioning MA off the west edge or if they have Exited one AFV
with functioning MA and one German MMC (not crew) that possessed any
type of functioning MG (even a captured one).

- Two new SSRs have been added.

4. Each mobile truck is removed from play at the start of an American MPh
if it has neither a Gun in Tow or Passengers.

5. All Open Ground hexes are considered Concealment Terrain but only
for set up purposes (A12.12 Concealment Placement).

OA8 - A PARTING BLOW

- Rewrite of the VCs.

VICTORY CONDITIONS: The Germans win at game end if they control at least
4 hillhexes at level 3 and/or 4 and have exited 5 AFVs off the north edge.

- Delete SSR 3 and add these two new SSRs.

3. The Foxholes and Trenches may not set up using HIP. Bore Sighting and
Kindling are NA.

4. AFV Crews may not voluntarily abandon their AFVs.

Pz. Abt. D - PIERCING THE ABSCESS

- Rewrite of the VCs.

VICTORY CONDITIONS: The Germans win immediately if they have exited at least 5
AFVs with functioning MA off the south edge, each German Squad (not equivalents)
exited off the south edge decrease the required number of German AFVs by one.

- Add one 5-4-8 squad to the German Turn 1 force.

- Replace the German 9-1 leader with a 9-2 leader.

- Add an 8-1 leader to the German Turn 1 force.

- Replace the German dm MMG with a LMG.

- Delete one American 2-2-7 crew.

- Delete the two American 76L AT Guns.

- Add one 57L AT Gun to the American OB.

- Decrease the number of American ? counters to 4 (from 6).

- Replace the 18 Minefactors with 2 AT-mines in the American OB.

- Decrease the American SAN to 3 (from 4).

- Replace all 4 SSRs with the following 4 new SSRs.

1. Weather is Mud (E3.6, D8.23, A26.41), with no wind at start.
Bore Sighting and Kindling are NA.

2. The Stream is Deep (B20.43). All bridges are One-Lane (B6.431).
All dirt roads are considered paved for vehicular movement purposes only.

3. On Turn 4 the American player recieves one module of 150+mm OBA,
directed by an Offb´d Observer (C1.63) with the added advantages that
he has LOS to all locations on the map and his LOS will never be affected
by Hindrances.

4. The Americans may set up one squad-equivalent HIP along with any
SMC/SW stacked with it.

- The following text have been added to the German OB box.

GROUP 4 ´ If this chit is picked on Turn 3, the American player may immediately
NONE ´´ place a bridge counter in hex 7I8 leading to 7I9 also place an American
´´´´´´´ 1-4-9 Hero with a BAZ 44 on the bridge. If the chit is picked on Turn 4
´´´´´´´ then the same as above applies but with the addition of one 6-6-7 squad.

HP#8 - LIGNEUVILLE HALT

- Add in the end of the Victory Conditions: Prisoners do not count toward EVP.

- Add an 8-0 leader to the German OB.

- Replace the American 8-1 leader with an 8-0 leader.

- Rewrite of all the SSRs with these 5 new SSRs.

1. EC are Moist, with no wind at start. Bore Sighting and Kindling are NA.

2. All Grain artwork is considered Brush artwork.
The Ponds are frozen at level 0 (B21.6 Ice).

3. The Americans may use HIP for one AFV and for
one squad (and any SMC/SW that set up with it).

4. Any German Hero will automatically roll a dr of 1
each time a Panzerfaust check dr is made.

5. For Entrenching attempts a +2 DRM applies.
