A new CG started, the German purchased 4 Pz Pltns and a Stuka formation, they attacked with 15 Pz III (6x Pz IIIH, 9x Pz IIIL) and two Infantry Coys with support of a Pre-reg 80+mm OBA.
Vs a Russian defense made up of 4 Infantry Coy, two AT-Guns 45LL, and two 80+mm OBA each with a Pre-reg hex.
The attack concentrated its effort against the railway-embankment area.
Russian Losses: 18.5 squads, 3 Ldr, 7 SWs.
German Losses: 11.5 squads, 3 Ldr, 4 SWs, 3 AFVs (one Recall).
Truck stop in OG with 2x Germ squads as PRC adjacent to a 447 sq that make a Fire attack: 8FP, DR9, PTC vs the squads, one is PIN.
Now the Truck Unloads the two squads, Residual 4FP attack vs the Truck and the two squads. Different results below.
A: DR9 (-2 DRM vs the 2 Unloading units), no effect vs Truck & the non-PIN squad have to take a PTC.
B: DR8 (-2 DRM vs the 2 Unloading units), no effect vs Truck & the non-PIN squad and PIN squad have to take a MC.
C: DR7/6 (-2 DRM vs the 2 Unloading units), no effect vs Truck & the non-PIN squad and PIN squad have to take a 1MC.
D: DR5 (-2 DRM vs the 2 Unloading units), Truck Immobilized & the non-PIN squad and PIN squad have to take a 2MC.
E: DR4 (-2 DRM vs the 2 Unloading units), Wreck & Random Selection among which squad is K/2 and the remaining units take 2MC.
F: DR3 (-2 DRM vs the 2 Unloading units), wreck & Random Selection among which squad is KIA (a tie results in 2KIA) and which squad breaks.
G: DR2 (-2 DRM vs the 2 Unloading units), Blaze-Wreck & 2KIA vs the 2 squads.
- The 447 fires Subsequent First Fire 4 FP vs truck & -2 DRM vs both unloading Passengers (regardless if PIN or not) in cases above after the Residual 4FP Attack.

Aftermath: The German onslaught of combined arms plowed through
the Russian line of defense and cut of retreat routs with artillery,
Panzer and Stukas.
The collapse along the railway embankments were about to happen
when suddenly the call for cease fire came on Turn 6.
In the Refitment phase the Russian OB was bolstered by a pack of
Pavlov's Dogs that had been ferried across the Volga during the night
(DR of 12 on the CPP table).
The 16th annual Stockholm ASL tournament will be held 11-13 May.
The theme will be East Front with 10 scenarios. There will also be 2-3 Russian-Japanese scenarios in a pool that you can add one of the scenarios from to the tournament round before scenario selection.
The scenario list will be released next week.
The Tournament scenario pack will be available in early March. If you will participate in The Scandinavian Open in Copenhagen the scenario pack will be handed out on the site and will be posted (in protective envelope) by mail in March to all others.
