Counter Storage

Recommended Posts

I am looking for some advice and information. I am interested in using a match box type storage system. I am from the US and not very many people over here use boxes so I thought I would go to the place that seems to do it best. I am curious as tpo how people sort their counter in match boxes. Is it one type per box or what. Any help would be appreciated.

Great. Thanks for the link. I will take a closer look this evening.

Maybe you should check in next week I might have written a little piece about this subject.

I plan to do a Matchbox - sortiment system next year but so far I have only written down

the thoughts about it on plain old paper and they are at home so I can not give you any

detailed info about the subject

(which Matchboxes to use , how to label them how to put them togheter and so forth).

best regards

Ps. just curious where are you from I have not seen

your name on any of the English-American ASL sites?

or have I?

Yes, I will keep checking back. My initial thought is to sort just one type of counter per box. I will have to see how that works out. I have made up some labels based on Reid Hutchinson's (sp?) Armory files. My labels are based on Avery Labels that are 7/8" x 1/2" I guess that is about 22mm x 13mm. I included more info than just unit type. For instance on MMC I put the ELR sequence and BH information. For vehicles I put the name as well as the MP's and Gun size. Those two numbers are easier to read for me than the small vehicle name. :)

I am in Garner, North Carolina, USA. Until now I have only posted on CSW and not alot there.

Hi Marvin,

Send me your Postal Address , I have no desire to print that quite lengthy paper-work

onto a computer-screen.

It would be easier for me to photo-copy it and send it to North Carolina then you

could read it through and maybe give me some input , questions and so forth.

best regards Melvin
